New York City will see this spring a series of events called (Post)Material - Design in the 21st Century, where we curate and produce discussions and workshop together with our Q&A studio partners. FEBRUARY 2012
We are rolling our woollen and warm sleeves up to run a series of innovation workshops with a major Scandinavian beverages and spirits company to rethink and reinvent their service and product offering.
Additionally, we publish a report New Visions for Food that provides an overview into the future of farming, manufacturing, selling, preparing and eating food - this is tasty!
JANUARY 2012
Happy 2015! Oh, wait 2013! Oh, wait, it's just 2012. Happy that anyways!
This one is expectedly going to get busy. Just starting the year with a broad spectrum of new work. We recently won a major innovation account for a major Scandinavian company, so January goes nicely by while identifying grand opportunities to create new value for people through a portfolio of new products, services and communications.
Also, we will host a seminar titled Designia Maailmalle at the Design Forum Finland on January 31st, where we publish the report suggesting future directions for Finnish design exports and events in the US market.
NOVEMBER 2011
Future of design, oh so bright! We delved into the future of Finnish design and identified emerging opportunities for Finnish design companies and designers to broaden their international horizons and better collaborate and cooperate for bolder global projects. You can find the report (in Finnish) from here.

JUNE 2011
We've been busy with exploring the history, presence and future of urban food culture in Helsinki together with the Helsinki Design Lab team (truly exciting!) as well as (almost) featured as keynote speakers at the PDMA Conference on Social Product Development and Co-Creation (which we unfortunately had to cancel last minute for family reasons).
But that's not all! We are in the works to set up an office in Helsinki together with our dear friends at OK-Do and few other brilliant Helsinki based thinkers and doers. The future-oriented studio will be located in the heart of Helsinki on Iso Roobertinkatu, expect an opening ceremony in August!
MAY 2011
Wevolve spends the May in NYC. Connecting dots with local fav partners and doing field research around social innovation & urban food culture. In addition to frivolous socializing Stateside, we produced an ethnographic fieldguide for Helsinki Design Lab for the week-long Synergize Finland studios they were producing in late May.
